Class sessions held at… The Hyatt Place/Charleston Airport, Convention Center
This workshop will begin with a classroom session on night photography including discussion about photographing pinpoint stars, star trails, the Milky Way, the moon, comets and meteors, and more.
We’ll have dinner as a group and proceed to Edisto or Folly beach to escape the city lights and wait for the stars to come out.
On Saturday, we’ll meet in the classroom again and learn how to edit our night photography images the right way. This is an intermediate workshop. General knowledge of your cameras’ manual mode as well as the buttons and dials for changing aperture, shutter speed, ISO are required.
If the weather doesn’t pan out for us Friday evening, we have made Saturday evening available as a make up outing. This is an additional option with no extra fee.
